Our HS basketball league in Sinton has ended, and your Lady Cats went 6-2! We defeated: Mathis, Ingleside (twice), Tuloso Midway, Alice and Orange Grove. And lost to Sinton and Calallen in close contests.
Tonight we defeated Tuloso Midway by 1, and Ingleside by 5 - going 2-0!
The wins are great…but much more important than that is how these ladies were a TEAM. Talking, cheering for each other, helping each other, being selfless. We could not be more proud of them and their excellent spirit. Looking forward to what is to come!

We received a report that a student heard another say that he was going to “shoot up the school.” A parent called to inf...
We received a report that a student heard another say that he was going to “shoot up the school.” A parent called to inform us. Sheriff Dept. was notified and made a home visit to the threatening student’s residence. It was determined that the student did not have the means to carry out that threat. Our primary concern is always the safety of our students and staff. Additional police will be on site. That student has been ordered to not attend for the remainder of the school year. Unfortunately, while all the information points to an agitated student, we must take all threats seriously.

So many good things are happening with Lady Cat Hoops this spring. Our 7th & 8th grade team is competing against 9th & 10th grade girls in a JV league. Taking some lumps, but getting better each week!
The HS girls are playing in the Sinton league that just started tonight. They went 1-1 on the night - beating Ingleside and losing a close one to Sinton.
